Notable postings in career of 36 years were Deputy Director PGIMER Chandigarh for 5 years ,Commissioner and Secretary to Government of Haryana for Finanace and Institutional finance for more than Seven years ,Chief Commissioner Income Tax and D.G Investigation of Northwest Region for 4 years.

After retirement was President Taxation with Omaxe Ltd till 2017.

Now mainly doing honorary work in Govt Schools and Civil Hospital of Panchkula.

Patron and Founder Trustee of Piya Sharma Charitable Trust of Piya Sharma Foundation. Working in the areas of education ,Health and Vocational training of street children and women of slum colonies of Panchkula (Haryana)for more than 20 years.

Before joining as Trustee of TVCC was Special Invitee in the Board of Trustees to advise on Finance and Accounts .
