Graduate from GMC, Amritsar and MS Surgery from PGIMER, chandigarh, Served PGIMER for nearly 40 years. Was trained in laparoscopic surgery as a WHO fellow in in UK in 1994. Established laparoscopic surgery in PGIMER. Also established Surgical Endoscopy, Surgical Gastro enterology and Surgical Skills lab in the Department of General surgery. Actively involved in eduation and research in the field of Surgery. Joined CMC, Chandigarh after retirement in 2017 as consultant surgeon.
